I am just a little confused abuot prices.
Received a M newsletter today that told me that Parhelia cards
will be available End of June at 549€.
At the preorder Page the price is 445.80€.
          ???

Are you complaining the the price is lower and the pre-order is sooner?

After looking at the piccies on these forums I caved in and pre-ordered one. The good thing is that it gets released a day before I get paid. The only downer is Vat which adds an extra £50 but overall, the price is what I was expecting.

                Jumping on the boat.

Well, it was tooooo tempting, I took the bait, 287.21 quid.

It is now a race between the Parahelia and the House I'm trying to buy.

Parahelia arrival date: dunno (3 weeks?).
House completion date: about 2-3 weeks.

It's a good job the house deposit was removed from my bank account a few days ago.

PU number is in the high forties.

No, but I read about a lower-clocked version beeing below the 549€ price and would not like to order that one.
But first I have to convince myself to upgrade to WIN 2K/XP asap - still using WIN98SE.

Ah. Now Europe is open for preordering. Way to go Matrox!

Unfortunately I keep getting a microsoft server error whenever i submit, so NO preorder for me yet. I will keep trying tho.

BTW: The price in Denmark is ~400 McDonald Cheeseburgers w/o discount.

                      Looool!
Just recived 16 preorder confirmations.. Looks like only their "U have compltede the order" page was broken, the order WAS actually recived each time. Lol. Ah well, I only followed the recommendations of the "server error 500" page: Hit reload..

                      BTW, conf number is 70.

                          - Does any one have a guess on how much the 256Meg version will cost? Somewhere around $450-$500USD i hope. Im waiting for that version to purchase this card. Heh, and my Boss at a Graphics Firm may upgrade all the PC machines to support the Parhelia to utilize Triple Head and true Dual Head. -
                          - ? -

I ordered one and on the preorder confirmation the total price is 278.06€ + VAT + S&H = €396.10€ total instead of 563.84€. What gives. Will I get one Parhelia for the cheaper price :-) or...?

A little caution might be in order there...
I've just ordered 6 parhelia's due to that server error...!
                              And whilst I wouldn't mind having 6 parhelia's, I don't need, nor can I afford them...

So I've got quite a little problem considering I can't delete my preorders.... Though, hopefully some nice soul from Matrox will do that for me
(I've sendt an email to support explaining the problem...)

Oh, and the price in norway is about 320 Cheesburgers, 58 cigarettepacks, or 64 beers..
