From what I've read FAA Should be used less less at higher resolutions because the jaggies arn't as bad, and so it shouldn't incure such as bad a performance hit as other methods.
So IF it's playable in future games, you might be able to use FAA and play at high resolutions at the same time.
Granted, at this time, it's a big IF.
And then there's that thing about droping back to FSAA.
