I find that price believable. With such a high ticket item, there has to be some room for discounts. I can see the retail going for as low as $370.
Too bad it doesn't decode DVD's in h/w, or I'd be on the gotta-have-it list, as well.Waiting on tech support...

I think that Parhelia does have some MPEG-2 acceleration features (though I'm not totally sure and after a 15-hours day, i'm too lazy to go check)

I'm disappointed that Matrox markets, at a premium, a card for visual fidelity and yet does so little for DVD. My aging Desktop Theatre and I still get along just fine, but I miss my Hollywood decoder and had wished for an equivalent in the new Parhelia.
