What effect does the new ATI card have on Parhelia

    None, atleast for me.

I have decided to buy Parhelia in August, it should be available then here in Finland.

I wouldn't mind though if the Parhelia price would drop a bit because of the new ATI card release. Now the lowest prices of Parhelia listed in Finland are 476 € (retail) and 451 € (bulk).

I think is a good sign.
Parhelia uses new tech, so if ati has added support for displacement mapping and the other stuff then it will likely be adopted by software writers a lot quicker.

Parhelia is on the money, looks like displacement mapping may be one of the big features to become standard in new video hardware.
