I'm waiting for the Parhelia 256MB RAM board to come out. Not because I want that much memory but for the reason it may be clocked higher. At least that is what one of the head honcho's at Matrox said when I read the interview. Want to know how long I am going to have to wait.

I believe it was a VP of sales or marketing that indicated that the 256 MB version would be clocked at a higher rate. Haig may not have quite the insight that the VP has.<TABLE BGCOLOR=Red><TR><TD><Font-weight="+1"><font COLOR=Black>The world just changed, Sep. 11, 2001</font></Font-weight></TR></TD></TABLE>

Generally speaking, it's more likely that a sales department is yet again committing the engineering department to something without prior consultation. That's the kind of crap that happens in companies all the time. "But you <I>have</I> to have that ready by then, we told customer X so."
Don't confuse insight with overcommitment.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
