Originally posted by Ant I've got a plain ole DH setup, XP independent res, and can only get overlay on the primary. How do I get rid of the "features", the modes available to me all have "features"
That's the problem I was having, Ant. The overlay wasn't working at all on the secondary head. It wasn't on the 'features' monitor at all. Could it be because I had the second head plugged into the number 1 on the splitter cable? I just changed it to add my TV to the mix (which apparently it kills the overlay there too)

TH desktop = blit on all 3 heads by disabling the overlay switch.
DH stretched + TV = overlay on primary with dvdmax.
DH stretched + TV = overlay on both by disabling the overlay switch.
DH independant + TV = overlay on primary with dvdmax.
