and VIA boards are normally using the _Universal_ AGP standard as opposed to the "normal" AGP standard. the good thing about it is that it's backward compatible with older AGP specs. Intel only uses the regular AGP 3.0 on their mobos, so 3.3V cards are to them what Kamikaze were to US battleship during WWII (they both die in the end!)
The good news is that the AGP connectors are keyed, i.e. there are bits of plastic usually preventing you from installing the wrong card in the wrong connector -unless the manufacturer plays around with "unsafe" ones to save money...
