triple head, gaming and high quality output here( though i really wanted to tick stable drivers and faa but i guess faa leads to high performance gaming and stable drivers are useless if they are too slow to do what you want them to)

Is this a way of deciding what you will be leaving in in the cut down Parhelia card?

Hmmm, only person for Triplehead, Displacement Mapping and DCC Plugins so far. Guess I'm the only one doing any DCC here at the mo who's taken the poll then.

            Can't decide!

I'd want all of the bottom five. And assuming we're talking about some future piece of Matrox hardware, I'd also want Matrox to return to the openness of the G{2,4}00 days. I hate having to use binary-only drivers under Linux.

Stable drivers is my main reason for choosing matrox, however I also play games alot, so I voted gaming performance too.

even though my next monitor will be of the DVI-flavour, I still believe high-quality display output, is the way to go, atleast until CRTs becomes obsolete.

what I really wanted to vote was:
                    1# stable drivers
                    2# image quality(including 3d)
                    3# 3d speed

notice that I value image quality over speed, that means that I won´t compromize quality for speed, EVER!(yes, i suspect some other companies compromizes quality to look competative in benchmarks), and i hope matrox will stay out of that.
and no, this wasn´t directed at the faa16x, the idea is good, you guys just need to make it perfect.

                    btw 3d speed != 3d benchmark speed.

I want what the G400 was in it's time:

                      - 3D speed or at least good price performance ratio
                      - stable drivers
                      - dualhead rulez

I left the image quality out, since with Matrox that's supposed to be a given.

Displacement mapping is no use, if the games dont support it. stable drivers are, in my opinion not a feature, but a must...

voted for high performance, triple head (if I only could afford two more displays ), and faa, which is really cool

It's really hard to choose only three of them...
                          but here is my vote:

                          1. UltraSharp Display Output (there's still some room for improvement in 3D, though...)
                          2. TripleHead (I probably won't buy any card without it for now on )
                          3. High-performance for gaming

Soupy: Is that image in your profile from demo session of the new card?

I recall similar images (eagle in Photochop on 3 19" Mitsubishi/NEC CRTs) from leaked Parhelia demo pics before lift of NDA?
