drivers, sharp output and high performance.
the rest are just gimmicks
*edit*
Read 'features' nt gimmicks... you know what i mean!
I'll buy any card that meets the above three criteria. The rest are just a nice bonus.Last edited by Paddy; 27 March 2003, 03:20.The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

1.) Stable drivers
2.) Dual-Display plus TV-Output
3.) UltraSharp Display Output
would be my top priority, but the follow ups are pretty close:
4.) High-performance for gaming
5.) FAA-16x
6.) WYSIWYG Plug-ins for DCC
7.) TripleHead
8.) Hardware Displacement-Mapping
9.) Dual video overlay
10.) DualHead or DualHead-HF
ah heck ... Just give 'em all to us !
bwt, I find it a pretty nice draw from you Soupy, that you ask us fellow MURCers ...Despite my nickname causing confusion, I am not female ...

1) High Performance Gaming (DX9)
2) 16X AA (fixed of course)
3) Triple head
Now to the alternatives
4) UltraShrap display (which is why I love Matrox, but then it's not a thing to worry about because all matrox cards blow away the competiton in this area)
5) Stable Drivers
6) Displacement Mapping
7) DCC

I voted for(in order of appearance)
1.) Triplehead - doesn't it include DH+TVO?
2.) Gaming performance - not spectacular, but decent even in new titles. Something what G200/G400 was in its time
3.) Stable drivers - not that I'm not satisfied with current G200 and Linux drivers BTW, my G200 was supported pretty well under every PC based OS I've tried. I'd like to see it from Parhelia(series?) of cards.
I'm quite satisfied with the display quality of my G200, I think M won't do any worse than that, so it's not listed above.

In order of appearance:
1) Who ****ing cares?
2) Who ****ing cares??
3) Who ****ing cares???
Let's release a RRREEEEAAAALLLLL Matrox worthy Video Adapter. Let's face it the Parhelia and the last 2 iterations of Matrox Tech have not cut it in the real world (that I live in).
Let's not quible about priorities, let's just get it right.
