This realy looks good! Have you tried some overclocking yet? And how much noise does the fans generate
They are 2500rpm fans, so not much noise...
As my PSU (set to the quietest already) and the HDDs are quite loud... I can't hear the fans spining at all.

    did anyone try watercooling?
There is another guy as well as HotKola.
The other guy is a musician looking for a quiet running system I think.

Good thing Matrox don't who you really are, this thread may give away the fact that you played with your P.
Hehe Oops did I reveal my serial number in the pics??

might i suggest to anyone trying to get their heatsinks off.. to freeze it, like put it in the freezer for a few minutes rather then heating up the card to get it off. it makes it a lot easier too.
But the contact (solder) between the chip and the PCB is weaken too!! In fact, the guys over DriverHeaven killed a Parhelia and a 9700 with the freezing technique... (or something like that as I'm told by 3dfx).

I got 15% overclock stable. Any higher and it would either lock up the system and video quality(mpeg, divx, et-c) degrades.
You think BladeRunner would sell one to me??

ive got that same heatsink sitting here but dont know how to attatch it. i know that you glued it but is it removable now or is that a permanent measure?(ie no chance to rma it.
is a flower best picked in it's prime or greater withered away by time?
Talk about a dream, try to make it real.

          Experiment of today...
I got it completes benchmark at 242/650.

Still not the toppest yet... KHXP has a much faster CPU than I have.

I got it up to 246/655 but it won't complete benchmark.
          Room temp is around 21C.

There is no way I can beat that volt modded Parhelia on 3DMark01

10 or 11%, depends on whether you have good (220) or bad (217) card.

Just done 243/655... but forgot to close Task Manager... grrr...

I can do 11%, but my machine locks at 12% starting the troll test.

Ok... got it to 13% stable... 14% is a no go though! Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. (might need a fan on the P memory.

                              My Parhelia Mod

Hey, I modified my Parhelia too and thought I'd post the pic for those interested. Its not as fancy as some of the H2O stuff I've seen lately, but this didnt really cost me anything, since I used an old Thermaltake Slim Volcano 8 that I had lying around. This is a 66x72x42.5mm HSF unit and fits nicely, with enough room for memory heatsinks too. BTW, I found my stock HSF came off very easily, I just removed it right after powering down the computer while the chip was still toasty.

Hey WyWyWyWy did that crazy glue hold up over time? I used crazy glue in the corners and arctic alumina thernal adhesive in the center of the chip, and let it dry for 5 hours Do you think this will last?? I'm little nervous that it might fall off, lol

                              Thanks!
