Just noticed that my retail p750 came with no product manual. I am not a person that usuallu needs the manual, but all my previous matrox cards came with a product manual.

BTW: I have taken some pictures of the board, but I'm unable to attach it to a message on this board...

I'm now running the p750 on my old computer. A P3-800 with 256mb SDRAM. Just couldn't wait any longer...

Now I would like to run some benchmarks to see how it performs. If it performs better than my good and trusty G400MAX I will be satisfied. Any suggestions of good 2D/3D benchmarks (not 3dmark)?

What was the top right of the pcb going to be used for ?

P750 MAX? Looks like loads of small chips and capacitors are missing. maybe when they go to .13 micron they will release a highly clocked version.

Thats just space for filtering caps (power) and a few inductors. Relax

                  Yeah, I wouldn't count for P750MAX

Maybe people at Matrox concluded that in the final release version things that were in this place aren't needed.

Anyway, not much of a difference if all is working good.

Thats actually quite common. rule with engineering is desing it with everything, then see how many components you can remove before it stops working.. less components = cheaper production cost

Does the P750 support hardware displacement mapping and would it be possible to run the reef demo on it?

BTW, the P650 is scheduled for delivery _after_ the P750. It should be available soon.

Probably a more quality / clever design team. The Parhelia board is a work of art.

The Parhelia used Tants, rather than electrolytics.
                              Basically:
                              Cost of Tantalum>Cost of electolytic
Having my boss whine about new motherboards power supply cuircitry has burned some of these things into my mind

Can you please check with powerstrip & tell us about the core & memory clock speeds?
