As for noise it appears to be the same as my Parhelia.

@bsd: will do as soon as I can, I've just been working to get you guys some reference numbers, and I'll do a finer analysys this week.

Basically my impressions so far.. if I didn't have a Parhelia here, it would be a good upgrade for my G550 as I use DH extensivly.

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

So P650 is still a good deal considering noise.

I check with the PowerStrip 3.45 Build 410, the core and memory for P750 is 250.09MHz/250.09MHz. I think it is not accurate?

From AIDA32 3.80, it also showed GPU @ 500MHz, and Real Clock DDR at 54MHz (DDR) and effective clock @ 108MHz. I am not sure what that means?

Does anyone know any software that will read the correct GPU/Memory clock?

        Thanks!

Try doing a pinsdump. We can tell you what they're really running at...

The PowerStrip report is correct: 250/250.

Or if you prefer your numbers NVidia style, 500/250 (ie, 500MHz "effective" memory and 250Mhz engine).

PowerStrip is (nearly) always correct. Damn fine tool.

You may want to remove line 12 from your pinsfile, as that is your serial number.

Clocks of 250/250 are interesting, as they me be indicative of what P8X may run at...

Except with Matrox products. It screwed up quite well with the G550.

It is pretty easy to tell if PowerStrip is correct or incorrect if you have a monitor with an OSD that reports the *received* scan frequencies - you just compare them with the numbers that PowerStrip says are being *sent* to the monitor, under Advanced timing options. Further: adjust the pixel clock in PowerStrip, then see if the changed numbers are reflected by the monitor's OSD.

If the numbers are wrong, then the other clocks reported in PowerStrip will almost invariably be wrong too.

Powerstrip consistently hardlocks my box, and sometimes does weird things to my Parhelia.
