"White Box" means OEM. Should still come with all cables and adapters you need.

The Micro X-press site has been updated. It says that the cables, etc. are included (but it still notes memory speed as 400). The inventory has increased to 100, must not be any shortage of cards or a one-time purchase...

The web site now says "card only" even though it still says "white box" as well. No cables, etc.

That's really weird. They're not supposed to sell them that way.

The DVI-VGA adapters for for $3 each, and I think the TV cable is like $5. Still cheaper then other places, but I think it stinks that they don't tell you till later what's missing. Regardless, I will keep mine when it gets here!

Unless you have DVI connectors on your monitors the card is dead in the water without the connectors, thats why M sells it as a set, regardless of OEM or Retail.

So these cards might be refurbished, in which case that is why all the accessories are missing

I inquired "Are these New or Refurbished Matrox Parhelia's???"

According to Jason in customer service - "These are new, OEM."

                              Haig,

What type of package is this, since it is new/OEM (white-box) but does not include cables or adapters ? It isn't refurbished, and is also $100 cheaper than everywhere else. It might also have a slower memory speed.

well, I just received it. Just comes with a card and a CD. Strangely enough, the CD doesn't even say matrox on it (I think its a CD-R). As I don't had DVI connectors on my monitor, this card will just sit on my desk for a few days. Matrox was sold out of them last I checked, so I have to goto eBay. btw, it says PH-A1280E9 on my card - does that mean anything? It's made in Thailand. if you have any questions about part numebers, feel free to contact me and I will try and read it off the board.
