    There are no (or very very little) advantage to overclock the ram to run faster than the GPU.

    I think it's the main reason for that Matrox switched from 3.3 ns chips to 3.6 ns.

    It's cheaper and it don't harm for performance.

      Nowhere says (through irc on #murc he lost his password for the forums):

      g2+/msdp/8i
      g2+/150p/8d (and this one has some matrox branded daughtercard with some black connector that looks similar to dvi - something usefull? - presumably p&d-d; is it somewhat compatible with dvi? do adapters exist? and what's with usb and iee1394? (it's scrabbled to the sticker with ibm on it ))

        $238 now and almost gone if the inventory counter is accurate.
        P4b@2.7, AOpen ax4spe max II, 4X Parhelia 128 with Zalman zm80c and fan -or- ATI Radeon X800GTO, 1024mb.
