    Thanks for your efforts gangster.

Glad you got it working. Wish I could have been more help and sooner.

Usually I didn't set the drivers for global faa either, but still thought faa worked with the 1.06s. I'm set global now. I learned something new today to!

        Hi!

Didn't have the time to compare all those extensions...but better late then never, right?

        Here are the results:

10 ARB extensions, 18 in win (GL_ARB_depth_texture,_shadow,_texture_mirrored_re peat,_window_pos & all 4 WGL_ARB-extensions), GL_S3 is ok, GL_ATI is ok. Autodesk is ok, 32x GL_EXT-extension in linux vs. 34x in win (contain the WGL_EXT-extensions), KTX is there, the only IBM extension is missing, MTX is ok, 2 NVidia extensions are missing, SGI is ok.

Before somebody gets angry: most/all? of the differing extensions are from OpenGL 1.4 & 1.5.

I would guess in linux is the full OpenGL 1.3 standard available.

Most interestingly I find here an extension that is not in any spec - the GL_ARB_depth_texture. It's from Brian Paul! look here: http://oss.sgi.com/projects/ogl-samp...th_texture.txt

        Have a nice day, Hannes

by the way there seems to be a bug with these drivers and multidesk, when i had 2 desktops with a lot of windows opend in 1 then switched to 2, all the windows had gone wen i went back to screen 1. Very anooying. The programs were still running but the windows had gone!had to log off and on again
is a flower best picked in it's prime or greater withered away by time?

Did this restore the windows, or just allow you to close the applications (semi-)gracefully?
I just lost a day's work because of MultiDesk eating my application windows (of course, any operating system / application that uses the class/name OF OPEN WINDOWS to determine if it needs to save is just plain stupid)

just allowed me to close a few of em with the option of saving, not what i wanted and some work got screwed with it. The stink of it is that i was only playing with it because i was bored, i thought ahh i dont usually use this and then all my windows were gone. Wont be using it in a hurry again, No real need for me with 3 screens on the go.

                      dunno ... that's why I ask ...

but I supect it to render stereo 3D, ie. I guess it can render two perspectives for stereoscopic viewing, either onto two outputs for feeding eg. two video beamers that could use polarised filters or the driver could render into one output, while the two perspectives could be separated via interlacing or line blanking

looks like I have to check it out for myself and see if it'll work with my shutter glasses ...
