Only for Imaging, I think. I don't keep too close track.

Besides, I doubt they are making offers that would get quality people. Who would go to a company that's already killed off their most productive members?

Anyone else notice that there are three versions on M's ftp site for the 1.07 drivers?

There is the 2kxp_107_00_089.exe that is the one linked to on their website, and there is 2kxp_107_00_089_vdws.exe that is the exact same size, but with a file creation date of 9:27 (the one linked on the site has a creation date of 9:32) The file size of both of these are 9884 KB.

And the third one is File: 2kxp_107_89_gis.exe 7781 KB 6/17/2004 6:03:00 PM

It came out the next day.... any ideas what the differences are?

Found a post by Haig that the vdws one is for the Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 preview output... You'd think they'd include that in the normal driver and not have a seperate one for it... unless it breaks some things... But what would the gis one be?

                  Why not ask Haig?

BTW, has anyone found out exactly what's new in these drivers yet?

(Not that I really care - the day I buy a Parhelia is the day Hell freezes over and politicians stop lying, or the day Matrox releases the specs and lets us write some decent open-source drivers, whichever comes first)

Nope no release notes yet (hmm yet sounds to positive not that I expect them to release any release notes ). Already went back to the DX9 beta drivers cause these drivers don't offer anything new (not even bug fixes).

heh they list Quebec as being a country.

They use the phrase "next generations of graphic accelerators", so maybe there'll be another card in the pipeline yet.

That explains a lot. Understanding their politics helps to explain why Matrox management seems so out of touch.
                            P.S. You've been Spanked!

How is Matrox management out of touch?

Well I know they must be out of touch, but I'm interested in what betterly informed people have to say

Btw, will an A4 Matrox G400 run on an AGP 1x slot?
