Dammit...I would have actually bought this card if it would have been DX9 (and thus Longhorn) compatible. The video input is very nice and I could finally make the transition to PCI Express...the price is not too awful either (350 USD).All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

*yawn* another product that is a good example of what the Parhelia should have been 2 years ago."And yet, after spending 20+ years trying to evolve the user interface into something better, what's the most powerful improvement Apple was able to make? They finally put a god damned shell back in." -jwz

same here... .... the price is not bad... P scores medium on combustion but it dosent burn a whole in my pocket as mutch as the highend cards listed... if it dose ogl and dx then it should be suficiant for my ocational 3dmax use..."They say that dreams are real only as long as they last. to bad it dosent have a plugin for avid... but i think it will still do 2 monitors and tv out... but i wish theyd make some sort of offical suport... at least for the Avid XpressPro software only users... in any event i will be getting my self a mojo soon... infacts i will be getting lots of new toys soon... will tell you all about it and post pics some time in february... part of my great exit plan...."They say that dreams are real only as long as they last. Wonder what the clock rates are? Or how good the s-video capture is. Whether it supports DXVA or not.
The board design isn't as pretty as the old P from looking at that thumbnail.______________________________

This is the card I warned you about a while back.
It's built on the regular Parhelia chip, but it's crippled to software emulation for many of it's advanced hardware functions, because M doesn't have the staff or resources to write a proper set of drivers for the card.
This PCIe card WILL be slower than the AGP version...Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

Is this the one thats supposed to be the PCIe version of the Parhelia? It sounds tailored more for video/photo editing than your normal graphics card.
Thats pretty darned scary having to ignore the hardware functions because they don't have people to write drivers... and its even scarier if thats their only new PCIe card.
