Forget playing seriously HD content with Matrox products. I tried many things with my P750, before giving up. Those cards just have not the requiered raw power and are DX8.1 limited.

Now my 6800 GT is soo smooth with every HD video. But it's also a pain, because of the bad colors I have now with the analog HD15 output (I still use) compared to the bright colors of the P750 ...

Anyway, with the P750, I noticed better playback of HD contents with Zoom Player or VLC than with Windows Media Player, wich need some features of the graphic card the Matrox cannot give to avoid jerkyness.
