      My very old favourites:

      Dungeon Master (Atari ST)
(this game is the reason why my

      serious nosedive back in '87
The sequel, Chaos Strikes Back, really
      separated the professionals RPG gamers
      from amateurs...)

      Oids (Atari ST)
      Boulder Dash (C64)
      Ultima IV (ST, C64)

And the best of the lot !
      Omega Race (Vic-20)
      (a module game)

has it really been over 10 years...

What about Bruce Lee or KickStart, again, both on the Atari 800XL/130XE?

JoshuaBair, you may have noticed my post earlier. Those two c64 games you mentioned (Mail Order Monster and Racing Destruction Set) are the ones I was trying to remember. Just got the title all confused. They were awesome!

I want to play Racing Destruction Set again, anyone have a c64 for sale
Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine. -- Dr. Perry Cox

Spyhunter as well. Gauntlet was fun w/ 3 people and lots of quarters.

Does noone remeber Darksun? That is by far one of the greatest RPG's of all time. I love how your responses to people can drastically change the game. The graphics were really very good for the time as well. And it was hard as heck to win that infernal game.

Jorden, your links about C64 stuff ****en sucked! Hey, you download 21+ mb of old tunes, and only 10% of them is really anything to listen to. And it isn't anywhere near 9000... more like 8356. Now, Vinz's however, were much better. That's what I've always been looking for, old games playable on a PC... I too have finished off Dune, and it's damn fun to play.

SidAmp is interesting though, too bad it give me artifacts (in the sound, stupid) and it doesn't have any filter.

                      Here's a quality site:

                      http://www.freealways.com/flashware/index.html

gotten from Vinz, but I guess this was one of the best of those links.

Fish, I got 11,901 files, from which 11,660 are SID-files... so, where did you leave the 3,000 odd files then??

                              Jorden.

Oh, PS: Why should Sid-Amp have a filter?? It's a plugin for WinAmp, so why not let WinAmp do all your work then??
