Running NT4/SP6, using quake II in 800x600
I found out that if I turn off busmastering the problems dissapear that I been having, such as quake II lag and graphical distortions. But not without a cost. I lose around 50% performance in FPS, I was getting anywhere from 85fps to 130fps with bus mastering on, now the best I get is 60 if even that so from 50 to 60 instead of 85 to 130. Well least I did the work of finding the cause. Hopefully the matrox people can fix it![](http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/smile.gif)
Bus mastering and 32 bit zbuffer are the only two things turned off in the matrox settings.
