  • TurboGL Questions

After installing the latest TurboGL, Half-Life locks during the switch to OGL, and Unreal Tournament won't recognize any hardware acceleration (never ran it prior to TGL, so I don't know what would have happened).

Also, a friend and I with different systems are getting a weird stutter in Q3A. It runs really smooth, except for an intermittant stutter. It's not quite like running below 30fps, its more like a chunk of frames gets dropped every so often.

    Any thoughts?

I'll try DX 7. I didn't think of that before you posted it.

The drivers though i don't think I can change. Matrox recommends 5.30 for the RR-G.
Anyone have any thoughts on that?

I think they don't recommend PD5.41, because they didn't check it on all configurations ...

just like quite a few people have problems running PD5.41 on their SS7 systems at all, where other didn't have any problems.

give it a try, but use the uninstaller.

            I'll certainly use the uninstaller.

Though I'm nostalgic about the old days, when reinstalling meant switch to vga, uninstall, search reg for matrox, mga, g200, etc. etc.
