HL is displaying 2 pictures on 1 monitor...

Mine was doing the exact same thing. I was ok at first launch, but if I went back to the menu, and then went back to the game, I got two smaller windows in funky yellow and pink and other bright colors. It reminded me of when you broke barrels in Drakan w/EMB on before the patches. All of the barrel shards were those funky neon pastel colors.

I finally went to opengl and the problems went away.

Mine's a G400Max w/552 drivers on a Celeron 366 OC to 413.
