bummer... i wasn't able to play last night because i was at work until freaking 12:15 in the morning *stare*

anyway, now that you mention it.. ever since i log on the first time using the pw, i have yet to have to enter it again whenever i log on.. does UT remember pw? just curious.

blades: I'm somewhat the same. I can see the Matrox server in my favorites list, I can see what people are playing, but no other information comes up; not even a ping. I've tried removing the server and adding it back in but it didn't work. The only way for me to connect is to open location.

I think my black ice is blocking information. At least I can still connect...

Nope. It isn't black ice, I just removed it. Blades, can you connect by using open location, and then inputing mgigameserver.matrox.com. Can you ping mgigameserver.matrox.com?

        Glarec: Yes, UT remembers passwords.

Fun as always on the MGI server. Hope to see you in there Blades. Also, nice to see you again Thunderchez, I thought you were MIA.

ill do clean format and install win98 again(win2k sucks for me, that dual abit board is a waste..UT crashes on me 3/1) .. and yes i tried the open location and the same thing happens..the connecting thing comes out..but it just stays like that..maybe it was caused by the crashes...and my fps is also damn too low since i stuck that patch..

so ill see u guys again later

It's always a spectacular blast to get on Matrox's UT server. I had a great time last night.

MIA? Well, I have been on a couple of other kicks lately. I was going back to a StarCraft kick, and then I was going on a Quake 1 kick. go figure. Well, I'm back on my UT kick, and I like it.

Thundrchez: It seemed as though you and Haig coordinated outfits last night -- both of you were Blue Cows.
I'm still trying to figure out where to aim for a head shot on you guys.

On a similar note to Blades and Xippo, last night I had an unusally difficult time with my connection. Usually it's pretty rock solid at 200-300, but last night it was all over the place and I got kicked out about 3 times, and then difficulty reconnecting.

I love the cow! There is just something about having a cow run around with a rocket launcher on its back that is so rediculous that it is downright hilarious. But that's just me...always the goofball.

One of my old roommates absolutely hates it when I play as the cow. He thinks it is an unfair advantage. Regarding head shots to cows, I think that you have to aim for the place where the weapons are. This is the "head" area as far as UT is concerned. When you are in the player setup with the cow, if you click on the "face" button it will zoom into the weapons mount point, which is quite a bit different from where the cow's head is.

My ol' roommate thinks that the cow should be banned because it has a smaller profile (?). What do you guys think? I think that he is drinkin drano. The front profile might be a bit smaller, but the side profile is larger...wouldn't that balance it out?

But yup, unintentional coordinated skins. At first I thought I was seeing some downright hideous lag... I thought that I was seeing myself in the "lagged" location of where I was a few seconds ago. But nope, it was just somebody else with the same skin. Earlier in the evening I was the same as somebody else (I forgot who that was), and later in the evening Haig and I had the same skin.

If y'all think the cow is an unfair advantage, I'll go back to the Necris skin.
