I only built my new Athlon rig last night and I'm not particularly happy with the IRQs that are being dished out - my P3 was alot tidier.

        G400 Max, 800x600x16, 3dMark2000 3d marks = 3578.

Before swapping cards around to change IRQs i was getting ~2700 - pants!

I expected more than this as my buddy with an Athlon 700 + V3 3000 gets over 3700 .

Ok, sure Maggi. Just keep us in suspense. LOL.

Something else I wanna know is how you got the Celery stable in Windows at 952. Mine's stable (for everything, including all-night UT CityIntro.Unr flybys) at 892.5 (105FSB, 1.85v), but I can't even get it into Windows at 952 (freezes at the cursor/desktop loading portion of boot up).

And if the secret of the original question is that you got the Celery over 1Ghz, I really wanna know about it. Hehe.

                    ooops ... sorry, Ace !

                    Here we go:

I use the ABit SlotKET!!!, FSB set to default, Voltage set to 1.85
In MoBo BIOS I set VCore to 'ignore'.
I attached a 2nd fan to my standard HS/fan combo (Pabst), but not as before on top of it !
Instead I put it to the side of my HS, pointing upwards when the CPU is plugged in, generating quite a heavy airstream floating upwards towards the PS and it's exhausting fan.

                    Cheers,
                    Maggi

                      Thanks, Maggi.

Gonna have to go buy myself another fan and give that a try! Right now my Slotket !!! is set to 1.65 volts, but in the BE6 BIOS, I've got it set to 1.85 (at the 892.5 oc I'm using). I'll see about changing where I set the voltage and whether that affects the oc'ability too.

                      Thanks again!

                        too bad 3dmark doesn't run on win2000 and isn't multithreaded,otherwise my dual 667 p3's,would probably set a new speed record for 3dmark using a G400max(evil laugh....MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... ).
