I think I'll wait a while before trying that.
If I have the time I want to format my HD and install Win98SE sometime this week anyway. It's just hard to install everything again then replace all my backed up stuff to where it's supposed to go.
If I just used this computer for gaming it wouldn't be a problem because I wouldn't have anything to loose.
It takes 2 RWs to backup all of my important files (Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightwave etc... stuff)

      Hi guys,

Leo reproduced this problem with SD based G200 boards but not with SG based G200 boards.

So who has what kind of G200?

      Thanks,

      Haig

You can look in our information tab and see what type of memory you have.

According to the information tab on my display properties, I have 8 MB of SDRAM. The serial number of my card is JBJ70957.

May I have everyone else's serial #? Also, do you all have RRG attached to the G200's?

                Thanks,

                Haig

Doh! Right after I sent that message I remembered that it says your RAM type under "Information"

                  I have:
                  8MB SGRAM
                  Serial#: ABS55380
                  No RRG

I'm assuming RRG stands for Rainbow Runner.

                        I'm having the same problem
                        with MXMadness2. I'm using
                        a G200 8mg
                        SGRAM
                        RAMDAC 250Mhz
                        Ser No. ABS569176
                        Bios 2.6-20
                        PDesk 5.52
                        DX7a

                        on a 350 PII @ 414
                        ABIT BE6-II
                        128MB PC100 RAM
                        Awe 64
                        Creative VooDoo2 8mg.
I hope someone can figure this one out. I can use the VooDoo2, but it has problems in the snow levels. That's a topic for a different forum, though. Let's hope it's not only ABIT boards with problems..

Now I'm nervous. I just sold my I740 which leaves me with only the G200 for my second machine. I have a V2 out on loan but don't expect that anytime soon. So, my dilemma is that my son loves to play against me on the home lan and we're limited to just a few tracks that run properly. I'm hoping a fix is around the corner.

                            Hi all,

Just to let you know, that we can still only reproduce this with SD based boards.

Hopefully the fix for that will also fix the problem with the SG based boards.

Sorry, but I'll wait until I can play MCM2 with my G200
