    Hi Drizzt,

hehehe .. I seem to have missed your point then ...

    To your questions:

    1. nope, you can tweak 'em to run at lower refresh rates, but 120Hz is recommended

    2. nope ... don't have any Flight Sims, but as long as they use D3D as API, you should be fine

    3. no clue ... I get a way more intense depth perception by using those glasses, i.e. it now looks like true 3D, as if your monitor has turned into an aquarium or something ...
Despite my nickname causing confusion, I am not female ...

I actualy tried both VFX-1 helmet (installed it in gaming club) and 3DMax (the first LC (no D, ok ok... ;-) shutter glasses).

If you read VFX readme, it says that 10% of people don't see stereo in it. I didn't.

3DMax worked perfectly. There were no real-time games at that time (6-7 years ago), so it was just demo, but it was very cool.

Now, you have to use 120Hz to get 60Hz in each eye, but you will have to see it for yourself. In any case you will need good (maybe small) monitor that will work on 120Hz. Sony 15' worked on 120 I think.

Oh, and there's VFX3D now, that's 640x480 and supports DirectX. Should be fun.
