    Thanks Paul!

I find rather amusing that MS stated clearly that Win2k wasn´t a gaming OS, and keeps releasing games compatibility updates.

I think I read in NTcompatible.com that it works with whistler, so it shouldn´t be that hard...

superbike2000/2001 are the only games that have given me any problems, some people running win2k can run it, but not me.

There's a few games (very few) I'd like to play in Win2k but can't. Slavezero...even the latest Covert Ops. Shogun Total War still only works in software mode with the latest G400 win2k certified drivers.

The biggest problem I have with Win2k as a gaming platform isn't game compatibility but that all our systems under this high tech roof is suffering from reduced graphics performance because we all run Win2k Pro. It seems that all graphics cards suffer from significantly reduced F/S under Win2k vs. Win98. Mostly the new Radeon DDR we got in a few weeks ago.

                      Neo,

Some of us have BETTER fps in Win2k. Of course we're also using dual-processor systems, but who's counting? (Grin!)

unreal tournament has always run better on win 2k than 9x for me, it's just the odd title that either refuses to run or runs a tiny bit slower. biggest change for me is sound in win 2k, running a cheap & cheerful hoontech digital xg & i'm still waiting for all the features i had with win 98, would upgrade but no idea as to what.

looking forward to upgrading to a dual cpu t-birds when the new amd ddr mb's arrive soon, with any luck it will be a xmas present to myself .

Hey, I couldn't run Transport Tycoon Deluxe today. Do I have to buy that Tycoon Collection to get windows version or I can run i somehow? (ttd patch is not yet compatible with windows version too).
First of all it's sound... ok, turn it off.
Next is "Unable to set up SVGA display".
                          Hm... what a pity...
                          Any ideas?

Is Transport Tycoon a DOS or a WINDOWS game?

*sigh* I don't have Viper Racing or Superbike or Transport Tycoon (those aren't really my kind of games) but I can try to get the demos to work because I think I have those. I have like 100+ demo CD laying around. I've gotten ALOT of games to work in 2000 tho and I'm adding more every day. I guess I'll add those three to my list of games to fix. Tried to work on those 2 last night but I fell asleep.
                            C:\DOS
                            C:\DOS\RUN
                            \RUN\DOS\RUN
