If it's the DOS version then you will not be able to get resolutions above 320X240 because those games require VESA. Unfortunately no one has written a VESA emulator for NT5 yet.

The 95 version should run fine.

      ------------------
      C:\DOS
      C:\DOS\RUN
      \RUN\DOS\RUN
      C:\DOS
      C:\DOS\RUN
      \RUN\DOS\RUN

Actually there's a known bug in direct x7 under win 2000 that doesn't take advantage of agp at all.

Win 2000 currently recognizes all video cards(regardless of who makes them)as pci cards.

That's the main reason why there still is a performance difference(in direct 3d) between win 98 and 2000 when using benchmark programs like 3d mark 2000 and a couple of other games(it depends on how they're writen).

The problem will only be fixed when the final release of direct x8 becomes available and dx8 certified drivers are released from hardware vendors.

You don't have to take my word for it,you can check it out using the system information utility, and you'll see it for yourself.

By the way, direct x 8 is at release candidate 1(version 219),it shouldn't be very long before the retail version comes out.

          note to self...

Assumption is the mother of all f***ups....

          Primary system :
P4 2.8 ghz,1 gig DDR pc 2700(kingston),Radeon 9700(stock clock),audigy platinum and scsi all the way...
