Yes, but you're better of by setting it to No.
That way Win98 won't rearrange the IRQs in a way, that may not be to your liking

Looking better. Don't worry about the IRQ steering entries: Those are normal and support interrupt sharing. Have you tried Q3A with this configuration to see if you still have problems? AFA the interrupts getting reshufled from what you specify in the BIOS ... this is due to Windows being a Plug-and-Play (PnP, or Plug-and-Pray) OS which thinks it knows whats best and "fixes" everything for you when it boots up. (Oops, just noticed that you two snuck a couple posts in and answered this). Disabling PnP in the BIOS will stop Windows from reshuffling. You may also have to disable "NVRAM/ESCD updates" in your Plug and Play BIOS entry of your System device in the device manager.

Ok, i disabled the pnp crap in the bios, also removed the Soundblaster, Matrox and SCSI card from the list so it redetects it and hopefully puts the IRQ's correct this time, however the IRQ list is still about the same. And i also do not seem to have a Plug and Play Bios in the list...and Quake3 still doesn't work...The only way to get it work again is to put the old drivers back i gues..
