LOL! I'll second Beezer on that. Kindness and I were going at it the other night and I lost about 4 out of 5 jousts.

I did catch on to the double tap stuff about half way through the map and reenabled dodging on my computer. Unfortunately I've never really gotten the hang of it and I tend to jump off cliffs a lot(which is why I disabled it in the first place ).
It's about time that I really try and learn how to use it though.

Uh...wow. I haven't played UT in so long I don't remember any of this stuff. Once my Internet connection gets back up (rassa frack'n Southwestern Bell bastards) I'll try and join you guys for a game or two. I'll make really good target practice for you.

I most play Counterstrike now, when I have an Internet connection at home (rassa frack'n Southwestern Bell bastards), but am willing to learn new things.

Yeah, I did my share of skydiving before I got use to the dodge thing. Once you get the hang of it it really comes in handy. If you dodge in a low gravity situation you go a lot faster in the direction you are moving (that make sense?). Snake-Eyes has made doing a flip to the side while somehow locking a single rocket on to my head a fine art. Proof positive that practice makes perfect.

Well, polish up the ol' rocket launcer and hop on in. The water is fine (but not that green water, it'll kill ya).

Hehe. I've been using the dodge so much for so long now, that I take it for granted. Makes it easy to just sorta automatically use it when in a firefight without realizing it, and let's me concentrate on trying to get the upper hand on you, Kindness.

The down side- Q3 and other FPS based on it don't have this nifty feature, and I tend to get myself killed when I habitually try to dodge incoming fire by double-tapping left or right, heh.

looks like i need to take the time to get UT updated to the right version and get back in the swing of UT. I've been without an online game since Valve went and ruined CS Version 1. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
