    Rag,

I respect your to the point trouble shooting. Maybe I should give a little more details about my system. I use a ABIT BE6 motherboard with PIII 750 @933 MHz with 256MB PC133 RAM. The USB ports are the ones on the MB not an add card but I use a seperate USB port multiplexer that I use to split out 4 additional connections out of 1 coming from the MB. Is THIS the cause of trouble. Anyway I will directly connect the wheel to the MB tonight to try it, besides I will try the same stages with the keyboard to be sure. Thanks for your help so far.

Update : I have connected the USB Wheel to USB ports on MB, tough luck ! Nothing changes. I also selected the keyboard as the controlled, same result! I am afraid it is a driver level problem.

Have you attempted to clock your processor down to "normal" settings and see if the lockup still occurs?

Hehehe, I am just trying to eliminate the possiblity of having the overclocked chip and/or the overclocked AGP bus being the culprit

Am I talking to the walls or what? Try what worked for me before going back to 98.

              Ciao

Gino, no you are not talking to walls My machine is dual boot so I will play the game under Win98 for sometime until ý start not caring about how it looks. Afterwards I may switch to W2K again without the eye candy.
