Yes buy RAM now! It's at the lowest price in years! Don't wait for some stupid earthquake to hit Taiwan and cause RAM price to shoot up the sky.

get more but i815 doesn't allow me to.

64 MB wouldn't cost you anything ... at CompUSA. That's right, after rebate its free! Probably the only way they can get you in the door.

Ram is also stupidly cheap in the UK which is an incredible surprise.

I bagged another 256MB for £82 including delivery.
I will probably buy another 128MB in a week or so if prices stay low to give me a lovely half gig.

You should not mix PC 133 and PC100 memory even when running at 100 as there are timing differences and this can/will cause timing issues and vcache errors.

                high_jumbllama: uh... i doubt it...

                --

                what i found:

on sale in futureshop for $40 CDN = $27 US for 64meg pci100..... i know... its a bit steep...

                another local store: $39= $26 US for 64 pci133
                $69 CDN =$46 US for 128 megs pci133
                $129 CDN =$86 US for 256 megs pci133

                seems pretty good!

Um High, I currently have a 32mb Compaq PC100 stick alongside an unbranded 128mb stick thats probably PC66.
Both are running at 95mhz rock stable in my K6III/450 oc to 475.
I'd imagine when you say timings you are referring to the CAS. This is not neccessarily related to the speed of the sticks.
A PC133 CAS 2 stick will have no problems operating alongside a PC100 CAS3. Just the same way your Ferrari can drive at 60mph just the same as your Ford.
