CMR 2.0 Best Stage Times

Anybody out there who wants to share some of his Colin McRae Rally 2.0 glory ?

My records for ITALY with normal WRC cars (not old group B cars !!) are as follows:

Stage 1 - 2:16:42
Stage 2 - 2:50:93
Stage 3 - 2:54:52
Stage 4 - 2:59:95
Stage 5 - 2:49:85

Stage 6 - 1:22:74
Stage 7 - 2:55:63
Stage 8 - 1:17:13
Stage 9 - 3:14:10
Stage 10 - 3:23:08

Remark: controller is the keyboard and car is mainly Ford Focus (the most balanced car in the game) with automatic gearshifting.

What about you ?

I play the game at 1280x960x16 whith all the effects activates and the draw distance to 10. It goes very well!!!

abt01 - which car and what type of controller do you use ? I suppose that you have a steering wheel and use manual gearshifting. But nevertheless impressing times.

Maggi - just listen to the co driver and you will be fine ! But to be honest, some tracks need massive training others don`t ...

What mode are you folks playing ?
Single Rally ?
Arcade ?

deejay - of course it`s different. Rallying is not Racing ...

Maggi - Forget about Arcade, this is no real Rallying because you are driving on a circuit and you have direct opponents ! (Must have been implemented for some kids out there ...)
Normally I´m driving a complete Rally, but to set record times on difficult stages, I choose "SINGLE STAGE" and drive it repeatedly.
Afterwards, you can have a look in the menue under "OPTIONS" what your fastest times are. It doesn`t matter if you set them in Single Stage mode or while doing a complete World Championchip.

Btw.: Just ordered directly from Crucial Micron 256 MB PC133 (Latency 2-2-2, 5-7T) for 288 German Marks or approximately US$ 140 incl. taxes and shipping. Can`t wait to get them ...

Hmmm I must be a kid at heart as I quite like the arcade style now and then. I generally try that when I'm tired of driving around on my own. Its the Toca 2 syndrome again MK heh heh!
