Ah, ok - I saw Oboy though, he let me know

So then, get a definite time organised, the earlier the better for us Europeans...

Once we have a time, mail Ant, he'll stick it on the front page, we can announce it across the boards - and we'll have 200 turning up

And here's a rough estimate of times:

      CA: GMT-7 - PST
      TX: GMT-5 - ?
      NY: GMT-4 - EST
      UK: GMT+1 - BST
      EU: GMT+2 - CET

So, I'd think about 12.30am NY time might be ok, assuming is Europeans can get up at 5.30/6.30am

Otherwise, I'd stay up till about 1am, which is 6pm California time, 9pm NY time and 2am European.

What times do you's think? I'm really 6am till 2am max, don't plan on staying up beyond that, and probably couldn't get up earlier

PS: Hope I got the names of the time zones right...

Is everyone cool with doing it at 4pm Central Time Zone in America?
        (21:00 GMT, @916 "internet time")

I think that would put it early enough for everyone. I need to get it set up so that I can get Ant to post it.

        Put in your vote.

Wuff, I was only camping when I knew Elvis was about to password his server. Otherwise I don't and can't stand campers.

You're proposing 4 P.M. CST (16h00) on Fridays? What about the working stiffs? No problem for me though.

                      xortam:
We are doing it on Saturday (6-23-01).

                      CactusJack:
I took that list from the IRC channels log. You either didn't log into the channel or I missed your name. I don't know how I could have forgotten you since you spanked me around pretty good .

                      ALBPM:
Swing by after work because if things go like they usually do in these big games, we will just be beginning to roll by then.

                      Lizzard[MPE]:
THat's why we set this up for next weekend. I wanted to be sure that the people that don't come around as often would find out about it.

This is going to be fun!

To be more clear, here is the proposed time AND DATE of the game:

                        Saturday 06-23-01
4:00pm Central Time Zone in America
                        21:00 GMT
                        @916 "Internet Time"

                        sorry about the confusion

Ok, I should be able to make it on from 2100 till 2300 GMT, or 1600 till 1800 Central US.

If everyone just comes on from "4pm/9pm", we should have quite a few people I'd think.

Hmmm... 4:00pm Central would be 2:00pm Pacific. I'll be heading home from Oregon that day... It's about a 10 hr drive, so if I hit the road at 4:00am I should be able to make.
I wonder what my wife and kids will think of that plan...

Liz: I hope you know by now that I wouldn't dream of forgetting to inform you I ICQ'd both you and Bry last week...

                                I tryed.

I got this really bad problem with a lot of games. After some time, a windoze "hourglass" appears and trails my cursor. It slows down the game, makes my mouse laggy and obscures my view. In CS I can, from time to time, make it go away again, after using some pointandclick menues with the mouse. But not always. In UT, it appears very quickly, and I cant get it to go away. AFter I quit the game, my mouse acc is way off (slow), but I CAN reenter the game again without the trailing.

I really cant find any explenation for this. I have tried everything I can think off.

                                Sysspecs:
                                AMD 1200, 256mb, G400max, sblive, win2000.

                                Any help would be appreciated.
