Did anyone ever play there? Every time I checked, it was dead empty.

I should note that I'm referring to the TFC server, not the UT server, btw.

      I'll put in my YES.

Rags and myself played TFC there regularly, and there was often a good crowd there (though most of them where just walk-ins, who had no idea who was running the server)

The games server was one of the SMARTEST marketing manuvers of any Gcard company!

            Yes.

There weren't always a lot of people on the UT side, but when we all got together that's where we would go. It was nice to have a place of our own.

I always thought that the game server was a GREAT PR idea for Matrox. When we played on all the gaming ladders using the [MU] it showed that there was serious gamers using Matrox video cards. I would have other Clans wonting to use the server for there matches and I received lots of good feedback from them how cool it was for Matrox to setup the server for us. It also gave me the opportunity to preach the Quality of the Matrox video card, until Matrox forgot about the gaming community! Its sad when one person in a GREAT Co. has no idea what is going on in the real world! My hope is that they will pull there heads out before its to late!

Oboy you may have just figured it out!

I'll bet they are making that server a file server for their corporate users. They seem to be aiming everything else their way.

                New motto alert:

                Screw the gamers! -Matrox

C'mon Haig, open it back up. Oh, and send each of us one of those new top-secret cards that you won't talk about just yet, so that we can brag about both our favorite company and the fact that we have a hot***ed Matrox video card.

                  ..or is Kindness right?

                        Haig,
Thank you for having the insight to start up the game server in the first place. It's to bad your the only one at Matrox that has a clue as to that's going on in the real world!!!!!!!!
I think if the upper management at Matrox was smart, they would make you a VP!
