Petition for Tech Support game server to re-open!

As many of you remember, Matrox Tech Support used to run a game server for their users. They ran Unreal Tournament and HalfLife-TFC, and where always open to suggestions as to what maps and game modes to run.

Unfortunately, due to cut-backs in the TS department, the server was taken down a while back.

It was a great place to play, that pinged well for almost everyone in North America (and even had many over-seas players visit), and had a friendly community attitude (unlike so many kiddie-mentality servers out there).

Since the server was taken down, I have all but stopped playing TFC because I can't stand 95% of the servers out there. I miss my TFC
With the recent resurgence of interest in [MU] playing UT again, I went to the #[MU] IRC channel, and noticed a number of MURCers commenting how much they missed having "our own" server to play on.

So....it was suggested to me that perhaps a petition asking Matrox to re-start the game server might provide fruitful. So here it is. If you like on-line gaming, and want a good, low-ping server, please add your name to this petition. If enough people voice their desire for this, I will submit it to the proper people at Matrox.

Also, feel free to add you opinion on what game(s) you might like to see run on the server if we can convince them to run it again.

I didn´t actually have the oportunity to come by the server , but I used to play UT a lot, and considering I´m a long-time Matrox supporter I see no other option than voting YES

Hope it works, if so we´ll meet there soon for sure

I've even had a game on it (UT) - from the UK on ADSL Good PR for Matrox to have the server.

I reinstalled TFC last month after a 6 month layoff, just to see if I could still cut it. I didnt do too badly , but the people who play these days are just not worth fragging.

Cheaters, lamers, campers and lame cheating campers.
And *)#&~'s who deliberately jump in your way on a FF server to get you auto-banned for teamkilling!

I uninstalled TFC and play UT against the 'bots set to Experienced when I need some frag action.
But if I could get a good game of TFC again I'd be tempted to reinstall

Never played TFC but UT and recently RTCW are great.
