Hi,
I got a G400 and it works very well for me until I try playing games. I kind of feel rookie about this stuff, so please advise. Thanks in advance!
I cannot understand why the gfx is so poor at games such as Colin McRae Rally 2 or even Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. Well, it seems as if the only "good quality" gfx game I have managed to play on this system is Quake 3 Arena. Not a big gamer though...
As to THPS3 it even couldn't run basic elements. I was unable to navigate well and practically launched the game being blind, because the menu bars inside the game flickered - so practically the only thing that worked was the 3d of the game. Not even the menus while playing. ??? Raster looks so bad and rough etc
Hope I made myself clear. Hope to fix it some way. The same problems under Win2k and XP as well.
Is it true, that playing games on Matrox G400 is a common problem or it's just me?... I believe it should be possible to push the limits and get that shiny 3d picture I've seen on my friends PCs (with GeForce2). :\
