Hi all P-owners
I've got my dirty hands on a Parhelia last Thursday and I'm sorry to say I haven't had so much fun with it as the rest of you guys.
The problem is that everytime I run a 3D game my monitor goes on standby. Same behaviour as when powering off the PC and leaving on power to the monitor. And no, it's not couz it's out of range, the monitor simply doesn't detect any signal. A friend joked about it and said it properbly just switched to the other monitor output and all I had to do was moving my cable to the other port. I didn't think it was funny
The really strange part is when running 3Dmark2001 or 3Dmark2000 everything checks out okay. nvChess is also okay. All the visual showoffs on the Matrox driver CD checks out okay too.
The games I've tried so far is ReVolt, UT (v4.00), Colin McRae RC and a few other from that era (I've been out of the gaming loop for well over two years, as the titles listed might suggest).
Can anyone comment on how why and if the signal to the monitor dissapers when starting some D3D applications?
I've tried the 223, 225 and 230 driver without any luck. Also, all other drivers in my system are the most recent or as close I can get them when not having I-net access @ home
This really puzzles me. And it buggers me too.
