Well, its been a month and a half since the last officially released driver so it can't be far off

And BioWare release a new patch about once a month or so for NWN and thats about 3 weeks away.

So hopefully at the end of the month I can finally get down and dirty with NWN

Unfortunately, Matrox' understanding of the word "soon" seems to be "about 2 months".

Is this fix for the G4xx/G5xx series of cards or just the Parhelia?

Soon =~ 2 months? I think not, it's from "this moment" to "eternity".

So I can safely say, I will be buying a Parhelia soon

Any idea on the release date for those drivers? I have to redo my hd and I'd rather just have one set of drivers. I'm debating on whether to hold off or just redo the drive and install the new drivers when they come out. Thanks!

Speaking of drivers...Since it's been forever since I've had a Matrox product in my box, where do most of you guys go for drivers?

I know that Matrox's site will surely have them, but are "leaked" drivers posted to specific websites?

As far as I know, there are no "leaked" drivers.

You can, however, get officially released beta drivers from Matrox site.

As awful as it sounds, I tried the leaked drivers. They DO work better with NWN, but on the other hand, the reflections in the Technology Test of Serious sam was all messed up. They need to fix the FAA stuff in the drivers that are coming soon. But please for the love of god release at least some beta drivers for linux!

There you go again, thinking that Matrox cares about Linux.

Hopefully Wombat will eat his words, preferably with some Hat. Bring on the Linux drivers! They had a beta to show at Siggraph, so they do have SOMETHING working.

Hopefully they care about linux a great deal, check this article. Looks just like who Matrox would be targetting with their fine product.

leech I would watch it if I were you. Wombat does have his reasons for feeling the way he does (and I might add rightfully so)
