As far as I can see, Tenebrae throws us into the Generic Code Path with no multi-texturing.
    And that can't be good.

I mailed the author about Parhelia support and he only said that he would try to speed up the generic path in the next version.

is the particle-bug in quake2 also fixed?

70 fps avg doesn´t sound like a lot, what resolution did you run quake2 in?

        About Tenebrae...

I'm not talking about performance per-se...But the fact that it's totally hosed in terms of what's getting rendered to the screen.

I didn't expect the performance to be very good, since the authors have only specific rendering paths for the ATI/nVidia boards...But I would still think that things would be rendered correctly.

Nothing much they can do until they get the specs for Matrox's fragment_shader OpenGL extension.

But they do want Tenebrae to support the Parhelia

Is there a FAQ that would show how to set up Quake II ins surround gaming mode? I have a parhelia and Windows XP.
            Thanks

              Hi,

I have never tried Quake II, but maybe this widescreen solution will help you:

The game engine is very old, so I would be really surprised, if it allows anything higher than 1920x480 resolution.
