      That's true, they're all opensourced now, if I recall correctly. I never did see any Glide drivers really come out though, and I recall that API becoming opensourced.

      To be back on topic of the m3D.... That's up there with asking if my old Canopus Pure3D with 6mb of RAM on it will run Doom 3. Voodoo 1 chips rule!

        anarkis, i think it would be alot more ideal if u follow k6-III's advice, as a 2nd hand ati 9500, 8500 or even geforce4mx440 would have a better chance of running Doom3 and you can expect better driver support.

              yeah, just a question of proper cooling and OCing it far enough.

              You shouldn't have ordered the Voodoo3, as with a bit of overvolting you should have been able to OC the card more than enough to get decent performance in Doom3

                And if it gets too hot just get a mini fridge and remove the door, and put it gainst thecase.
