    YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, sweet very sweet.....

I'm already getting used the NFS underground in surround works like a dream (1.02) the only thing that's missing is a HUD fix. So EA come on and bring us that patch.

You can change camera settings diuring the game with F or/and Q (out of my head), is it playable without the FOV fix?

If you look into the hardware.ini all resolution are mentioned (that are supported by the parhelia).

PS: Just saw in the readme that the current (107) driver for the parhelia has some issues with shadows and glowing. Does the big M already know this and will they fix it or are they only interested in 'serious apps'.

    PS exerpt from the readme
    Matrox video cards:
The Matrox Parhelia 1.05.00.107 driver is supported but shows problems with shadows and glowing objects. Shadows are often too dark and not fading with dead enemies. The glowing effect has been disabled by default since it was causing the whole screen to glow at all time. This effect can be enabled by setting ColorDiffusion to 1 in the Hardware.ini file located in the game directory before creating a new profile

        Chr_79, thanks!

        Surround in NFSU is fantastic!

No problems (other than obvious stretched video, etc.

Shame EA won't support an obviously great feature... guess that when ATI + NVIDIA catch up on the SG front then maybe support can be officially unlocked!

                Hey Y'all !

Since I finished NFSU during this weekend, I thought, I'd resurrect this thread and ask about everybody's personal top speeds, which was a bit above 360 km/h, on my side, using the Nissan Skyline with all available upgrades (level3 and unique)

Anybody got a clue, if there's something like an overall statistic, like the ones after each race ?

I done 327 km/h with a Golf GTI, but i still need level 3 upgrades for the NOS, Turbo and the computer thingy. So theres still romm for improvement.

I think the game is bit too fast, hehe going 320 km/h everything gets a bit blur

Also the lack of lan realy sucks

                    yay ... finally a response ...

but the VW sux and instead you seriously should sacrifice your topspeed and grab that Mazda MX-5, because it has way superior handling and you'll end up in higher average speed.

about LAN gaming, there's an unofficial patch floating around the net that is supposed to simulate an internet server in a LAN environment, eg. here:

I've used the LAN server/client proggies that I think were linked either here, Matrox's forums or Beyond3D (can't be bothered to check where.... ). Works fine and dandy.

380 Kmph with the skyline on the reverse highway dragrace circuit, with level3 plus 2 or 3 unique upgrades.

that should be achievable without blowing my engine ...

btw, how is online gaming ?

I don't have an internet at home, and these LAN patches look tempting, but I was wondering if anybody could setup a server for the internet ?
