Oh ya... I'm very impressed with Toca Tools

Do you know if Dave tried Max Payne 1? It should be allot simpler then 2 I would think. Also, I remember talking to you about Devastation. I think camera hack is the only thing that might do it.

That’s a great news ... I'll be looking forward to playing Athena Sword

Dave needs to own the game in order to create the tool ... I'm not sure he will have Devastation as it wasn't the worlds most popular game.
As for Max Payne 1... again I'm not sure ... he had such a hard time with Max Payne 2 ...

I will ask him about these ... but ... I don't want to swamp him with too many all at once .... he might go ... ...

So ...I think I best leave it until he has finished working on Athena Sword and the Medal of Honor series.
(I have also asked him if he could update the World Racing FOV Hack tool to work with the latest patch)

I'll let you know as soon as I know ....

By the way ... you're talking about World Racing v1.6.6 patch right?

Yeah.... the v1.6.6 patch does the Surround better now but the cars look squashed to me ... as you know with Dave's hack you can vary the FOV etc. ... and put the HUD on the centre screen.

1.6.6 is about the same as the 1.5.5 ... just use Dave's current tool .... with 1.4.4 for now
I'll post (in the World Racing thread ... ) if he manages to update it for 1.6.6.

                    Hi Paddy,

Silent Hill 3 can easily be modified to work on 3 screens. Not my type of game but the only thing wrong with it is that there isn’t any way to adjust the FOV.

After you start the game the first time it will create disp.ini in savedate folder (Game Install Dir). Then, all you need to do is change the line "size=1024x768" to "size=2400x600" (or any other surround resolution). There is also one there that’s called resolution=512x512. That’s actually texture quality, it can go as high as 2024x2024, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you got a real fast machine. Cause mine isn’t fast enough for that.

Thanks again... leave it with me....

As I mentioned I will let Dave finish looking at what he already has... before hassling him with more.... It does look like a game that might be good in surround.

Just out of interest ... can you tell me what are the controls like ... are they the normal PC controls W..A..S..D .... etc ?

                          Cheers.....
