Heh, I'm ussually in the 1600 at playchess 5m blitz. Don't play slow online. My national rating is 1652 but due to some good results will be about 1730 as of August 1. I recently played a tournament (40 in 1-3/4 hrs+15mins) where I scored a TPR of 1954. That has been the tournament of my life though, not sure I'll ever beat that again.

Utwi, isn't there a free client for playchess we could use?

Ars does corespondence and it's free, let me ask what they use - they use Redhotpawn:

Although live chess (between 5min+5 or 10+10) would have been prefered for our application.

MSN Gaming used to have free live chess.

www.spelpunt.nl offers live chess and ratings for free as well, but, it's in Dutch and you can't select time, I think it is all 5m+0s games.

It's been agaes I've been there, they now do have Xm+Ys options! So it's just that it's Dutch that might be an issue.
