I doubt it's the FOV angle....For me it's always been head bob. Turn the bobbing off, the motion sickness goes away...Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

I had trouble in Halflife 2 on the swamp buggy level.. after that it was fine. I guess I got sea sick
.. anyways, I just finished episode 1. It was pretty decent, but 5 chapters only took me a couple of evenings to finishWe have enough youth - What we need is a fountain of smart!

So I played it for about an hour last night. It's pretty tight. Story's good, and the scripting is too. The pace is nice, it's faster than HL2, and you have to think that way, too.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

Yes, definitely keeps you on your toes. I think I have about an hours worth of playing left at the most. I just haven't had the time to finish it this week. Maybe tonight...
Wombat, have you played 'lowlife' yet?Last edited by Helevitia; 8 June 2006, 10:07.Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

I'm somewhere in Lowlife now. Smart use of the Alyx, and rocks, is saving me. I just passed an area with zombines (which I managed to get those tentacle things to eat), and I had to quit last night while in a parking garage with a ton of antlion pits.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Oh no, I'll figure it out. I actually barely played that room, but it was the first time I died since a piece of debris got me on the elevator. It was just time to call it a night.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. I just finished the game. Waaaaaaay too short. I didn't realize it, but I had saved the game right before the last "scene". So I finished that up and it was done. Have you guys checked out the Episode two trailer yet? It's gonna be a long wait, but episode 2 looks even better IMHO.Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

Yeah, that's the only thing that sucks about this is price. It's going to come out to $50-$60 for the trilogy. People say "that's just right for a game." But this isn't a game, it's an expansion pack. Should have come out to $35 tops.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Wow. Apparently last night I saved and quit with only about 5 more minutes left in the game. Fun, but far too short.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
