    • Looks like my connection problem solved it self yesterday!? I installed an Array Mpeg encoder in my NT rig and suddenly the Fu#&¤%ing computer connects seti automatically? I will let it go for a couple of day and se if it is true.
Do you guys know how much performance hit the comp takes if you are running several instance of seti at once? I have been running six! at once on my dual Xeon, because of the connection problem and it doesn't seem to make much difference. Now when it seems to connect I will try to run only 2.

      • 600. Damn. And I danced the dance of joy when I hit 50.

Look out though. I'm in 172391st place and tied with only about 3,000 others.

            • Sorry - no more breaks, since the soldering went well on the BE6, that's back running my PIII-450@600 with 133FSB. It's doing units in around 7.5 to 8.5 hours. That means that my other 600Mhz PIII is back in action at work on my BX6R2 - tired of those slow K6-2 450's on EpOX MVP3G - taking about 17hrs a unit...

Hopefully will be able to hit 7th place by this time next week....

                            • Could the founder of the Matrox Users team try to 'regenerate' our stats-page (like the instructions at the top of the page explain)?

I have the strong impression that a large part of our WUs are not being counted: for the period Nov 22-30, SETI's page claims that we've completed 684 WUs, whereas my database records indicate that it should be closer to 1700... Maybe regenerating the stats can help close that gap?

Then again, I could just be paranoid... Have SETI-statistics taken over my personality? Does ET have the root-password on my machine? Is there a conspiracy between SETI and Team RivaZone? Did Lee Harvey Oswald really...

                              Ah well...

                              Grtz,
                              Martin
