      Hi Assi,

I think it is, now. We don't have this forum for long (recogniced it yet, 30th April).

You're very welcome, and all of our friends at anand's .

        Cool

I didn't think this was up the other day.
Was this cause of my post or just coincidence?

Either way I hope you keep it ,somewhere for us to have some fun trash battles as well as to talk about more serious SETI stuff

hehehe ,you got a few 486's coming online to help you then?

            ... I wonder how long a 486 100 would take to do a WU?

Do you need a tow whilst we both climb up the rankings? hehe

                    We've got a member who's done 1 WU in a 299hrs!!!! ,i've no idea how he managed that ,I haven't asked yet.
I think he single handedly bumped up the whole teams average WU time!!!

Assimilator - We found a guy named XenoSynth. He's a free agent we picked-up on waivers.

Assimilator1, "free agent" and "waivers" are both sports/labor expressions.

A free agent is an athlete whose contract has expired and is free to seek employment with another team. There are varying degrees of freedom, however. An unrestricted free agent can go and do whatever he/she wants. A restricted free agent's team, typically, has the right of first refusal. If a team the player was originally signed with matches the offer or gets within a certain percentage of a competing team's high bid, it retains the player.

Waivers are a bit more complicated, so I'm going to give you Major League Baseball's definition:

"A waiver is a permission granted to a Club that desires to assign or release one of its players. There are basically two types of waivers -- waivers for the assignment of a player and waivers for the unconditional release of a player. In both cases, waivers are granted only after all the other Major League Clubs have been given an opportunity to claim the player and none has done so. With regard to assignment waivers, permission is granted for a specific period of time. With unconditional release waivers, once permission is granted the player is a free agent."

                                Whew!
