You can download the client here, preferably the text client if you plan to be active and install it as a service or run it as it is.
You were supposed to be able to download the dfGUI here (can't reach the site) and be able to configure your text client and check on progress easyer through it.
Look through the readme files and if there's something you're missing, come back and ask
