TC = (ranking on) Total Credit
RAC = (ranking on) Recent Average Credit or somesuch. It's actually a complicated geometric mean I think.Join MURCs Distributed Computing effort for Rosetta@Home and help fight Alzheimers, Cancer, Mad Cow disease and rising oil prices.

Bad news.
I'm shutting off my XP2400, it's generating too much heat and wasting too much electricity for the RAC and it's pumping out.
My File Server will keep running, it's way faster anyways.
Sorry Umfriend, I put a lot of effort but it's not really worth it.Titanium is the new bling!

He Zokes, no worries man, understandable. Appreciate the effort.
We are doing well and if other join or add computers we'll really skyrocket. We'll be within #1000 within a week thx 2 u allJoin MURCs Distributed Computing effort for Rosetta@Home and help fight Alzheimers, Cancer, Mad Cow disease and rising oil prices.

At least I still have my file server which puts out quite a bit of credits. The XP2400 just wasn`t worth it. It's performance was rather pityful.
I know!! We could rally together and rent the Titan Super computer. It's got 299008 opteron cores, does 20+petaflops! We only need it for a month or so and we'll most certainly be in the top 10!
Or for a mere 3500$ CND, I could build a 64 opteron core server just for rosetta. It's fun to dream sometimes.Titanium is the new bling!

3500$ CND, I wonder...
64 cores require about 24Gb to 30Gb of RAM methinks. Or is memory that cheap nowadays.

For me, it is due to some changes at work: my work pc is now running 24/7 to allow me to connect remotely. But as I get notifications of this thread, I figured "why not?". I may still add my home computer, but not sure about it at this time: it is noisy...
