Wow! I ain't up to date on Matrox scene!
I heard it was going to support tranparent Windows for Win2k - does it have this yet? Is it actually planned?
I have an 8Mb SG G200 but it can't quite force my 32Mb TNT2 out my system - but I'd sure like to see more of the fancy features of Win2k.
Thanks,
Paul.Meet Jasmine.

Any news on PowerDesk 6?
Does anybody have any info on when PD6 will be released (without breaking NDAs!)
Thanks,

Is this a joke thread or something? Let's get the facts straight (please correct me if I'm wrong):

[*]No, PowerDesk 6 is not already released for Windows 2000.

[*]Window transparency in Windows 2000 is implemented in software. Hardware/driver support is irrelevant.
[/list=a]

Well, somebody else in this forum had said that they were eagerly anticipating PD6 for transparant windows etc. So if drivers
are irrelevant then why don't I see them? Where is the option?
Thanks,
Paul.Meet Jasmine.

No. That's why I specifically looked at the PD-version, not the package version. They all said "Powerdesk Version 5.xx.xxx" and I found no PD6 drivers anywhere.
For example, there's G400/MAX drivers at http://www.matrox.com/mga/drivers/files/w2k_503.htm and it's a PD5, not 6.
Why don't you paste a link here for the PD6 drivers, 'couse I fail to find any.

So then, regardless of whether it's in PD6 or not, whether there is a PD6 - does anybody have transparent windows in Win2k?
Thanks
